MMG / 50 Cal Cafe Grand Opening Bash!

We're finally making it official - November 12, 2016 will be our Grand Opening Celebration BASH for both Military Muscle Gym & .50 Cal Cafe!!! 

The event will showcase a group or "squad" type workout, great music and special guests. Please RSVP as soon as you can. Invite friends and family, you don't want to miss this one! Fresh and delicious food and drinks available to purchase from our very own .50 Cal Cafe!

Military Muscle Gym & 50 Cal CAFÉ GRAND OPENING event workout:  


Check-in Time Begins: 10:00am

This is a TEAM workout. Your 4-man (or woman) fire team will move through an outdoor course.  At each station, your team will be required to complete a mission; missions can consist of body weight movements, weighted movements, or obstacles.

*** In addition to completing your missions, your team will be required to transport a training log (approximately 8 feet in length) throughout the entire course, from start to finish. ***

Throughout the course at each station, you will be aided by a designated representative from Military Muscle Gym, as needed.

Fire teams will begin the workout in waves; for example:

  • Fire teams 1, 2, 3, and 4 will begin the course at 11:30 AM
  • Fire teams 5, 6, 7, and 8 will begin the course at 11:40 AM
  • Fire teams 9, 10, 11, and 12 will begin the course at 11:50 AM

As always, timing and structure are subject to change to some extent; you will be briefed on the day of the event. Any remaining questions and concerns will be addressed at that time.

Your fire team’s ranking/score will be based on time to completion; there will be a running clock from start to finish of the course.

Throughout the course you will be actively competing against other fire teams, but more importantly against yourselves.  Motivate and encourage your fire team, communicate effectively, and move efficiently. We’ll see you in the field.

Recommended/optional gear:  Gloves, CamelBak, Bug Spray
